Diaries of a Fashionista… Wannabe! Accessorize

Accessories are a fun way to play up an outfit. I have a few go to items, although I may not wear them at the same time but I do like to mix and match things.

This is a new necklace I got over the weekend from Lucky Brand… I adore it!

My Pandora bracelet is one of my favorites. I love that I can add charms that mean something to me, plus it makes it easy for my wonderful husband to buy gifts;)

On the left is my Target ring, This one is big but I love how ornate and colorful it is. On the right are Lucky Brand earrings, again these are cute and fun… just not so much fun when my daughter pulls on them! OOOUCH!

Who said keys can’t be accessories! I love my camera key chain from Clickinmoms! And this sheer, lacy scarf I picked up in Nashville on a trip, is girly and perfect.

 

Lastly, my Crochet Toms. These are my go to shoes, they are super comfortable and cute. I even wear them while shooting weddings, since they look cute with a maxi dress or skinny pants.

 

There ya go! I’ll come back to the scarfs in the future. Embarrassing fact: This is one of those Wannabe moments I had recently, this was actually the very first scarf I bought that wasn’t for winter wear.

Like Mother, Like Daughter… Happy Mother's Day!

A few weeks ago I had the privilege to meet up with a photographer friend, Sarah Lee Williams Photography, I only knew from the internet. She asked me to come out to Nashville with her during her vacation for a surprise photo shoot she wanted to do for her mom. She gave her mom a day of pampering, including a new outfit, getting their hair and makeup professionally done by artist Lisa Proctor and then we went out to Franklin, Tennessee to do a photo shoot!

I had a blast working with these two ladies. I love that they are best friends now and just love to be with one another! So here you have it! Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there, I hope all moms can have a close relationship with their children like these two!

Glam shoot… part 4

I had so much fun shooting these glam session. Suzanne Clayton did a fantastic job enhancing all these ladies beauty with hair and makeup. And thanks again to photographer, Blake Reagan for all his hard work during this shoot as well, he assisted me with lighting and direction.

Diaries of a Fashionista… Wannabe! Around town outfit!

If you read my post last week you would have seen how I dress for everyday. Hey, I’m a mom I stay at home quite a bit and play with 2 toddlers so I give myself permission to wear jeans and a t-shirt on a daily basis! However, I love to clean up before going out shopping or out with the girls (we love our moms night out!). I recently bought this new top at The Limited on their clearance rack. I’m all about style if I can get it at a decent price. Some things are worth spending more money on for quality however when it comes to trends that come and go I prefer to take a cheaper route. I know I’m not alone here!

So here you have it a basic around town outfit that is easy. A simple summer top with skinny jeans and cute shoes! Oh and let’s not forget the cute earrings I picked up at Francesca’s, such a cute little boutique!

 

 

My son wanted in a picture. He loves my soft box and laughs every time it flashes;)

Glam shoot… part 2

Meet Christian! This sweet fun lady is so very beautiful, even without makeup! You can see from the first photos the transformation you can get from the makeup artist, Suzanne Clayton.
